Editorial Policy

The route every article on juegospucca.org takes from idea to publication, and what we refuse to publish.

Why this page exists

Anyone can claim to be careful. This page sets out what careful means at Juegos Pucca in enough detail that you can check whether we keep to it.

How we choose what to write

We keep a running list of questions readers send us, plus questions we had ourselves and could not find a straight answer to. A topic gets written when it appears on that list more than once.

Dates

The date you see is real. A tidy up of wording leaves it alone; only a change to what the piece recommends moves the modified date, along with a note saying so.

The drafting process

  1. The writer collects what they already know and marks the parts they cannot support.
  2. Those parts are checked against a primary source, an operator document, or direct experience.
  3. What survives step two goes into the draft. What does not is cut.
  4. A second person reads the draft for claims that sound firmer than the evidence behind them.

Accountability

We attach a person to every article on purpose. It means a mistake costs the writer something, which is the strongest quality control a site this size has.

How the site earns

Yes, some outbound links pay. What they pay for is the hosting bill, not the wording of the assessment sitting next to them.

We have never taken a criticism down because somebody asked, and the asking tends to tell readers more than the original complaint did.

What we will not publish

  • Claims about outcomes that nobody can verify.
  • Content produced only to fill a keyword slot.
  • Recommendations we would not give a friend who asked in person.

Corrections

Corrections go to info@juegospucca.org. Include the address and the sentence. Anything factual is fixed without argument. Anything that changes what the article recommends gets a dated note underneath, so the change is visible.
